What to include in a shipping inquiry
An inquiry that includes the points below can be answered in a single reply.
- The product name exactly as it appears on its product record.
- The quantity required and the specification requested.
- The destination country and the receiving laboratory or institution.
- The lot documentation your organisation needs with the shipment.
- Any receiving restriction, delivery window or goods-in instruction that applies to your facility.
Packaging
Materials are supplied as lyophilized powder in vials. Packaging format, including multi-vial presentation, is agreed with the quotation and stated on the commercial documents, so that the packing list can be reconciled against what arrives.
Storage and handling requirements may vary by lot. Read the certificate of analysis for the lot you receive before use, and follow your own laboratory's handling procedures.
